It all started during Canberra’s ‘snap’ seven day lockdown that turned into nine weeks of pure boredom. I’d say it was about week three when I realised there absolutely had to be more to life than the tedious 9 to 5 I’d been doing since I was seventeen.

As soon as I was able to I was on the road to visit my best friend who just happens to live across the road from the Sydney Flower Markets.

I’ve always been obsessed with flowers so you can imagine I was like a kid in a candy shop. I thought I’d grab a few bunches and see what I could create. As soon as I got home I was hooked! Within a week I’d created accounts with every wholesaler I could find and ordered more flowers than I could fit in my tiny one bedroom apartment. Ooopsie Daisy was created!

A month later I’d created an Instagram account and had over 1000 followers and honestly I couldn’t keep up. This adventure truly took off and I felt extremely grateful.
